The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics.

The Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI®) symbol is the mark of a real estate professional who has made the commitment to provide a high level of professional services by securing a strong educational foundation.  REALTORS® with the GRI® designation are highly trained in many areas of real estate to better serve and protect their clients.

CBR® (Certified Buyer Representative) is the first nationally recognized buyer agency designation.  The course is sponsored by REALTOR® Boards and Associations throughout the United States.  REALTORS® with the CBR® designation have the street skills necessary to both help buyers find their desired property and to help them negotiate for that property in a non-adversarial manner.

The exclusive REALTOR® e-PRO® certification certifies real estate agents and brokers as Internet professionals.  The course is designed to help REALTORS® stay at the leading edge of technology and identify, evaluate and implement new Internet business models.  The course instructs participants in the professional use of e-mail, the development of an interactive Web site, and the use of online research tools.  Graduates use the skills they've acquired to provide clients information on properties for sale, local communities, and the local real estate market.  Consumers can identify the e-PRO® through the exclusive e-PRO® Internet Professional logo.
